Mayor Dan Carter proclaimed Tuesday, June 25th to be Taoist Tai Chi® Day in Oshawa.

Durham chapter members offered a demonstration on the City Hall plaza, then attended the north lawn to witness and receive the Proclamation. Mayor Dan  gamely joined in to try his hand at a few moves in the Tai Chi set.

Members later celebrated with a lunch, sets, fellowship and a potluck supper.
